Paintball Guns and Paintball Equipment are our specialty

Domain- Paintball Guns and Paintball Equipment!“Gotcha!” is a 1985 thriller in which students play an assassination game on campus using paint guns. Anthony Edwards is the quintessential juvenile college kid who happens to be a champ at paintball. This skill serves him well when he goes behind the Iron Curtain during school vacation. While in East Germany, he becomes entangled in a real life intrigue in which he becomes romantically involved with a female spy (Linda Fiorentino) who uses him as an unsuspecting courier.

Though improbable and silly, the film served at the time to further the growing popularity of the paintball game which today boasts several organized associations including the National Collegiate Paintball Association. The NCPA is a non-profit organization created by college players to promote paintball at the interscholastic level.

Paintball has become so popular that even celebrities have gotten into the game. Among celebrity paintball players are members from the band, Linkin Park, B-Real, William Shatner, Drew Carey, Nathan Jerrell and Josh Panek.

Most commercial games are held in paintball fields or parks that are insured. A field or park may be a complex terrain with plenty of places to hide. Some include abandoned buildings while others may be a wooded area. These insured parks adhere to specific safety rules and employ staff to make sure that all paintball players are participating in the game properly and are adhering to safety rules.

Some players go it alone and play on private, unregulated land. Because of the lack of regulated standards, the unsupervised paintball situations suffer the vast number of reported injuries. Private landowners may want to think twice before allowing paintball games on their property since they could be held responsible for injuries sustained on their land.

Current professional and semi-professional leagues, such as the NXL (National X-Ball League), NPPL (National Professional Paintball League), NCPA (National Collegiate Paintball Association), CFOA (Carolina Field Owners Association) the NEPL (New England Paintball League), and the SPPL (Scenario Paintball Players League), regularly hold high-class, well-organized events. These, however, aren’t the only leagues. Check out the Nordic Series and the Paintball Association in the UK.
